NAVAJA VIVA
Al ser capturadas a mano no tienen arena en su interior y son de una excelente calidad. Este método tampoco les produce stress y por eso a menudo pueden sobrevivir 3/5 días o más después de la llegada al destino. Después de recoger las navajas, se transportan a la fábrica, se embalan en manojos de 1 kg y se envuelven en papel especial. Esos manojos se colocan cuidadosamente dentro de cada caja, en el fondo se coloca una bayeta absorbente, luego se acondicionan con gel-packs fríos.
Los principales tamaños disponibles son Grandes (menos de 10 piezas / Kg y más de 7.5 pulgadas de largo) y Medianos (11-16 piezas / Kg, entre 6.5-7.5 pulgadas de largo). Las navajas se embalan en cajas de poliestireno de 5Kg y 22 kg.

Exporting live Scottish shellfish daily to France, Spain, Hong Kong and Singapore
MBS Inter Mar Ltd have been exporting live shellfish from Scotland since 1998. Our live products are mainly creel or diver caught in the waters off the West Coast of Scotland. These 2 methods of fishing are internationally recognised as the most responsible way of fishing as it does not affect the surrounding habitat. Once caught, the product is carefully graded and conditioned for transport to ensure that the best quality is received by our customers. For road freight, we have daily dispatches to Boulogne-Sur-Mer, with onward connections to the rest of France and Spain. For air freight, we have two dispatches per day to Hong Kong and Singapore and daily services to Barcelona, Madrid and Oporto. Please note that there is a minimum order of 80kg for air freight orders.
